Tararua Land Surveyors are experts in subdivision and land surveying. We are Licensed Cadastral Surveyors who have knowledge and experience gained over many years, both in private practice and public service.
This knowledge includes subdivision design, resource management planning, land law, cadastral or boundary surveying, property mapping, contract management and construction supervision. With this knowledge and experience we have helped our clients successfully complete many projects. We offer our services to clients throughout the greater Wellington region, including Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt and Porirua, as well as the Kapiti Coast, Levin and Horowhenua region.

Tararua Land Surveyors Limited was formed out of the practices of Eastern Consulting Limited and Foster & Company which included land surveying.

Ashley Houghton
Director
Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, B Surv (Distinction)
Ashley Houghton is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with sound experience in cadastral surveying, resource management planning and subdivision design.
Ashley worked at Wellington City Council in surveying, planning and building business units, and uses that regulatory experience for the benefit of clients. He enjoys passing on that knowledge and seeing people learning and growing.
Ryan Kissell
Survey Technician
Ryan has been with us since March 2020 running the Levin office. Prior to this, Ryan spent many years working as a surveyor in the Wellington region.
Ryan is building his knowledge and experience in subdivision design and is adept with land development engineering.
Ryan manages the jobs through the whole process, and keeps things moving along.

Lucie Rasova
Survey Technician
Lucie is an experienced field surveyor who has worked in the Wellington region for many years. Lucie joined us in August 2020 and undertakes field surveys for subdivisions, boundaries, buildings and construction.
Lucie prepares the plans for all of these activities, including scheme plans and engineering design.
